How to Apply

Admission Criteria

• We are excited that you have decided to apply to Heritage Baptist Bible College and Seminary. Our admissions office will be able to help you through the process. Admissions requirements and program prerequisites differ depending upon the degree you are seeking. Please see our catalog for specific details or contact our Registrar’s office.
• HBBCS admits students who show a sincere desire to learn and fulfil God’s will.
• Students must profess a testimony of faith and personal salvation in the Lord Jesus Christ.
• Students should exhibit Christian character, and have an eagerness to learn God’s Word. Students that apply to HBBCS must agree to abide by the rules and regulations of the institution.
• The Institution holds the right to retain or expel any student in the course of any disciplinary actions.
• The student must not only achieve the minimum academic requirement but must exhibit Christian growth and maturity, good character, and commitment to the purpose and positions of HBBCS to acquire the qualification to which they are admitted.
• The minimum qualification requirement for each program is mentioned under ACADEMIC PROGRAMS.

Application Process

1. Application form may be downloaded and printed from the College website. Prospectus may also be downloaded for free.
2. The application must be duly filled without any omissions. The filled-up completed application form with all supporting documents be forwarded to the Registrar of HBBCS.
3. Completed applications should reach the registrar’s office by the 15th of June, to be considered for admission to the academic year commencing in July.
4. At the time of Admission an application processing fee of Rs. 250 has to remitted in the HBBCS office.
5. All candidates seeking admission should follow the instructions given below; no application will be considered for admission that is incomplete.

Enclose the following items with the completed application form

• Two passport-size photos apart from the one affixed to the application form.
• One photocopy of each page of all academic records and diplomas duly attested by a guested person.
• Completed physical examination report by a qualified medical practitioner.
• Testimony of your personal salvation experience, along with a statement of your purpose in pursuing studies at HBBCS.
• A letter of recommendation and testimony from the applicant’s sending church or organization, indicating their support to the applicant.
• Applicants enrolling in post graduate and doctoral programs need to submit three letters of recommendation, sent directly from each Referee to the Registrar’s Office.

Admission Procedures

• HBBCS reserves the right to admit any applicant to study. The applications are processed in the Registrar’s office.
• Applicants are reviewed on the basis of their academic record, testimony and extent of their Christian ministry involvement, and the recommendation of their references.
• An entrance exam is conducted for all post graduate applicants, following which an interview is arranged.

Dayscholars

• HBBCS primarily encourages only residential mode of study.
• However, students as Day Scholars are admitted to HBBCS on agreeing to certain conditions stipulated by the Administration.
• Living in close proximity or in a easily commutable place from the college shall be considered.
• The applicant must consent to abide by the rules of the Institution.
